Issue:

Customer reports: “We are having a problem with our receipt printer. It is telling us to turn on the printer but it’s on. It won’t print any receipts, I have reset it, tried to re-pair it and turned the power on and off. Is there anything else you could recommend we try?”

 

Resolution Procedure:

> In the iPad go to settings, Bluetooth, and ‘i’ (beside printer device)

> Forget the printer

> Power Cycle the printer

> Hold down the pair button on the back of the printer until the light begins to blink

> Pair the device using the iPad. If a password is requested, enter 1234

> Once paired, retry printing the receipt using the App
